I like the originality of the show and Chris’s commitment to the character. I’m thoroughly impressed how Chris was able to hold the entire audience’s attention for an hour all by himself. The premise was introduced clearly and each song flowed into the next with relevant experiences his character had.
What I didn't like
The setup and staging certainly worked for the space and the quick turnaround times of a Fringe Festival show, especially at one man show at that! If budgets and time weren’t considerations it could have been fun to see some more lighting cues, louder music, and some sort of pyrotechnics or confetti explosions.
My overall impression
What an original, fun, and creative idea turning some of Prince Harry’s experiences into catchy songs with great hooks. Honestly, I want more.
