What I liked
I really liked the production’s use of the space and the visual value that was added by having such bold projections in the background at all times. Chris’ comedic energy and timing is so fun to watch! I appreciated the moments of audience interaction, as well.
What I didn't like
As someone who only knows bits and pieces of this story (thank you Netflix) I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Chris’ comedic take come to life in song. If done again, I would love to see how Chris would craft more elements of the Royals’ story, whether it be through the perspective of other family members or delving even deeper into Harry’s experience. (I guess this isn’t anything to improve just more of why I’m excited for round 2)
My overall impression
A soundtrack fit for a king. Chris Chianesi’s lyricism and moves will have you laughing through to the very end.
