How free Victor was in his movements. Every gesture and dance felt so fluid. There wasn’t a moment that felt calculated it was a truly spontaneous performance. He’s an incredibly present and versatile performer.
The lighting choices were stimulating and the sound kept me guessing where we were and what was about to be thrown at us.
He was fearless in connecting with the audience making people shuffle in their seats and wonder if they should answer his question about love.
What I didn't like
Not a thing, could’ve watched another 2 hours of this story and still beg for another minute.
My overall impression
Intoxicating journey into the mad genius of Vaslav Nijinsky. I walked in knowing very little about the man and left with a new curiosity about him. The choreography paired with his absolute lust for life was so moving. There were moments as an audience member I felt the joy of a little kid watching how free he was in this story. 10/10
