The music, the performance, the pacing, the setting.
What I didn't like
A few songs felt a bit melodically repetitive and could have used a bit more variation, to my ear.
My overall impression
Immediate and engrossing from the opening number, King Nigel has you on the streets of post-punk NYC for a personal and cultural flashpoint. Emotionally and socially complex, it’s effortlessly fast paced and accessible, anchored by Satu’s agile performance and catchy songs.
