What I liked

I thought everyone involved did an excellent job quite literally bringing these issues to life in an immersive and compelling way. The cast was truly fantastic. They all deserve extra credit for creating such a high-level production!

What I didn't like

By juxtaposing the dynamics of a college seminar with the moral ambiguities found in advertising, this play really captured the tensions of modern life regarding identity, media representation, and even reality itself. I’d like to see how these themes might be expanded to also include generative AI as a contributing element.

My overall impression

This is one advanced seminar that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Who would have thought there would be so much drama in a college classroom? Not since School of Rock plumbed the academic codes of high school has the educational process itself been interrogated with so much humor and sense of transcendent possibility. It is a thoroughly inventive play with a refreshing mix of voices that emphasizes dialectic over the didactic when it comes to thinking about critical contemporary issues.
