What I liked

The whole idea about the show, and building a theatrical show around this subject. The two sides of the 50’s advertising wife were stand outs. Both actresses attacking the same character from different perspectives was fun, entertaining and thoughtful. Costumes were great as well as the use of multi-media, syllabuses, etc. etc.

What I didn't like

There is a lot going on in this show and is juggling many balls at once. There is a lot of breaking and rebreaking of fouth walls, and questioning what is real, what is show, and at times I felt it became overwhelming, and at times overshadowed the lessons I was trying to learn and the narrative I was trying to follow. Show could also be pared down to 50-60 minutes.

My overall impression

A very ambitious show that has some very fun moments, a few great performances, and is attacking how advertising both enforces but also helps creates the social constructs of the pastthat we are still trying to understand, and move past. Not to be corny but it makes learning fun.
