The Penny Stinkers are so in-sync, it’s hard to believe it’s all improv! It’s a special thing to watch happen live in front of your eyes. They don’t just play silly improv games, and they’re not all chomping at the bit to just get in as many jokes as possible. They’re committed to telling complex comedic stories through longer-form scenes, and as an audience member, it’s so much more satisfying to watch.
What I didn't like
Scheduling the Saturday show as an evening vs. matinee so that I can attend! :)
My overall impression
Long-time fan here who’s been following the Penny Stinkers for years! If you’re not typically into watching improv, I’m begging you to give these folks a chance—you won’t regret it! And if you’re all about improv, all the more reason to come to this show! I laugh harder at Penny Stinker shows than at any other comedy show in LA. Nobody’s doin it like them. They are a one-of-a-kind group—don’t miss your chance to see them before they blow up!
