I enjoyed how Sam Jae recounted childhood memories of his late father and how it all built, in a sincere and comical way, to the culmination of his last moments with his dad. It was both universal and uniquely his experience. Sam Jae’s ability to both respond in real time to his audience and expose so much of himself in his wholehearted storytelling made this show a beautiful and inclusive narrative. It was a total joy to witness.
What I didn't like
Apparently, there can never be enough Capri Suns!
My overall impression
My Dead Dad was bold, vulnerable, and wonderfully funny.
