The play looks back on Holmes’ career in a way that was accessible to both newbies and the the most hardcore Sherlockians.
What I didn't like
There is a secret that is revealed that is of the playwright’s invention about a part of Holmes’ life that is glossed over in the official cannon that may or may not sit well with the Baker Street Irregulars, but I found it a plausible addition to the great detective’s life story.
My overall impression
Miles-Thomas masterfully brings the world’s greatest detective to life, and captures the essence of Doctor Watson and Moriarty while he’s at it.
