What I liked
It’s hard to specify everything that I enjoyed about this show. Michael Perl Mutter’s writing was beautiful. Each scene flowed beautifully into the next and I was easily able follow the story. The plot unfolded at a very reasonable pace. I was interested an attentive the entire time. The lighting design was perfect. I always knew where I needed to look to capture the phenomenal performances of all of the actors.
Josey DePalo’s performance was breathtaking as she made ginormous discoveries with the audience. While Caroline Rodriguez delivered a magnificent hidden knowledge of their relationship. I could not stop laughing due to Jeffery Johnson’s hilarious execution of this great script.
Everything came together for this show through what I can only assume was lots of hard work, talent and love.
What I didn't like
Sitting on the side I missed the scene during round one with Fran and Derek. This is because of the Blackbox arrangement, I was disappointed I was missing out on an incredible performance.
My overall impression
I had such an amazing time watching this show. The acting was beautiful, the scenes transitioned so smoothly, and the technical elements were beautifully incorporated into the piece.
