Loved the multi-media elements of photo and video. Loved the incorporation of ephemera from her childhood. Loved how she was unapologetically herself throughout the show! Loved the direction by Amanda Sitko. Loved the big laughs and the emotional moments as well. Loved the ending of the show, and how it really tied everything together.
What I didn't like
This show is super well done. No notes. I can’t wait to see it AGAIN!! Highly recommend to all.
My overall impression
Chris Farah is a dynamic performer, who has really created something special with Lebanese Debutante. By weaving different stories from her life, she paints a portrait of who she is today that is relatable to all. There were big laughs, and also deep moments of vulnerability. This is a must-see show at Fringe this year!!
