Josiah seamlessly transitions between an array of bombastic characters which all feel nuanced and hilarious. His comedic timing is excellent and a joy to marvel in.
What I didn't like
I really don’t have any criticisms of Flayed. I was pleasantly surprised by how much could be accomplished in a one man show in both performance and writing.
My overall impression
Flayed was absolutely astounding. A performance perfect comedy that balanced a heartfelt and poignant narrative while having the entire audience in stitches of laughter. A fresh take on storytelling that was grounded and honest while steeped in absurdism. An absolute feat, I’m blown away by Josiah Blount’s Flayed.
