What I liked

I feel that this electric performer is most served by what I can only imagine to be an exceptional understanding/execution of clown — these elements are sprinkled in without being about it, yet always being desired! Select moments of audience participation are always appropriate … even when they’re not … it’s boundless in the best way — and thanks to the performer’s ever-present joy, it’s impossible to feel anything else! Shoutout to the seamless direction that physically and emotionally moves us through the piece, and the dramaturgy that allows for moments of absurdity to still make sense.

What I didn't like

There are typically so many challenging elements to solo shows that it’s impressive how virtually all of these are accounted for in this show — particularly with the character transitions and beat changes that flow so smoothly. Near the end as we entered into seemingly new scenarios, I found myself starting to have new questions, that were somewhat answered, but I still left with a few that I wished to be.

My overall impression

A solo show is risky… a 75 minute solo show is wild… Flayed is risky and wild and masterfully paid off! My Pick Of The Fringe!
