What I liked
The songs were nicely composed with duets interwoven to show the dual nature of family relationships in the context of culture and time. Visually alluring and impeccably timed down to the very second.
What I didn't like
It would have helped of the actors had been mic’d. Their voices were beautiful but some lyrics were lost depending on where one sat.
My overall impression
Ambitious show dominated by originally composed songs. Artistic representation of intergenerational feminism.
