What I liked
The five young cast members sing well. The music delivers a pleasing range over the hour. The on set ticking clock delivers a precise runtime.
What I didn't like
It’s a challenge to balance live singing to a playback track. Especially since the singers are not mic’d, it’s important to ride the levels of the playback music to allow the audience to hear the lyrics.
My overall impression
A sweet exploration of coming of age.
