I loved the current topics explored in the skits… transgender topics, book banning… and the fresh and unapologetic and tongue planted firmly in cheek in the writing. The spirited fun from the actors was infectious as they drew the audience into their lair! I loved Maura Swanson’s monologues and can I say Rachael Winfree, who has her big moment towards the end, is an acting class in comedy in its purist form!
What I didn't like
The writing had something for everyone and peoples response to what is hysterical vs mildly amusing will be a broad spectrum.
My overall impression
The talented actors and the “inappropriate”… pun intended… sketches made for an evening filled with much needed laughter for the audience. I attended Sunday night June 11th and the audience was right there with actors and rewarded then with big laughs. A fun night out!
