What I liked

I loved David St. James from the horrible writer in the very funny piece from Laura Fonti Cohen an acting company on the verge of falling apart in The Last Reading to the inappropriate mourner in Howard’s End. David St. James is always real and lands all the humor effortlessly! Dee Freeman in The Pharmacy again by Laura Fonti Cohen is completely as understated as St. James which escalates to very funny announcing ….something… on a maga phone!

We believe Jerry Weil on the Funny and Silly 1st Date piece by Beth Polsky that he really will go through anything to give his date a chance, and I mean anything! Trying to do No spoilers here. Maura Swanson gets to shine more than most of the company cuz she has two funny pieces in The Sub and Bible Study! AnnaLisa Erickson stands out as the theatre company’s actress and the wife who bares it all to try to get her husband back! I actually enjoyed Every Actor in this Theatre Neo’s Inappropriate!

What I didn't like

Theatre Neo is a very talented company and an hour show can’t begin to show off this company properly! Yet, what a lovely splash in hff23 of silliness and just plain fun! Perfectly Inappropriate!

My overall impression

A Fun Night with Theatre Neo’s Inappropriate! Silliness might be just what hff2023 needs! We all have been through so much, it was refreshing not to think and enjoy this very talented troupe of Theatre Neo! Rachel Winfree set the Comedic tone during the Pre-show Speech. Michael Caldwell, so dang Funny, is the host from hell in a game show where no one can win! Rom Watson Curb Your Urges was a great opening and a killer role for Michael Caldwell! Caldwell and Winfree, these two actors know comedy, and totally set the tone for the entire show! They both bookend the evening in the very funny Howard’s End! Everyone gets to shine! Inappropriate is perfectly inappropriate!
