What I liked
As someone who’s planning a wedding, lemme tell ya, I felt SEEN. The chemistry between actors is strong and their clever use of props (IYKYK) and the set was fun to see come to life. The jokes landed and kept on landing! Would love to see this piece extended into a longer show or adapted to television. Super relatable.
What I didn't like
It’s hard to think of anything as I thoroughly enjoyed the piece. I’m excited to see what happens next and for the supporting roles to be developed further as it’s such a strong ensemble piece already. I’d love to get to know these characters’ backstories further.
My overall impression
Thoughtfully crafted and well-written. Keen understanding of comedic timing and the nuance of aged friendships. Congrats to all of you for a wonderful opening night!
PS: I wanted to jump in and be on stage with all of you! Truly so fun to watch.
