What I liked

The characters were immediately likable. The writing and the acting worked in tandem that I really believed this was a deep friendship. The energy between the two, the hearbreak they share as their idols pass away and their rights are oppressed more and more truly tie this play together.

What I didn't like

Beyond the preview tech gitters, which is understandable, the projections were fun at times, but distracting during others. You could probably cut half of the projections, and not take away anything from the play. Also the little silent film segment felt a tad unnecessary. While it did provide us some insight into Quinn, it doesn’t add to the narrative.

My overall impression

This show hit me right in the feels. Though I may not be able to relate to the experiences directly, the main characters nerdiness was such that I related to the emotional weight as the year 2016 dragged on. A time capsule of 2016, this is a great show to watch, laugh, cry, and maybe find some catharsis.
