What I liked
All three actors in the film give outstanding performances; Colbert, Goddard, and Lake especially excel in their roles as the three nurses.
What I didn't like
The movie does not hold back in showing the nurses’ anguish and terror, even though it presents the war in a somewhat sanitized manner.
My overall impression
This is a noteworthy film that is well worth seeing because of its powerful performances and historical significance. Nevertheless, the pokedoku movie has its share of problems and isn’t as well-known as some other World War II movies.
