It was very heartfelt, and was obviously incredibly personal. It takes a lot to make a show about your own life in a way that condenses and makes meaning of the chaos into an emotional thrust – and Amber succeeded!
There were so many characters to keep physically distinct from one another, and I applaud Amber for making each of them memorable and specific!
What I didn't like
While the dynamic between Ego and Soul was very understandable, I think I would have liked to see more of how Ego and Amber got along, and what motivated or cinched Amber’s trust that Ego knew better over Soul.
My overall impression
An autobiographical journey into how goddamn hard it is to honor yourself. Honest, kind-hearted, and superbly graceful.
