What I liked
the duality of a drag performer is literally presented. I think this is the first time I’ve seen this.
What I didn't like
I think the documentary wasn’t the best way to end the show.
My overall impression
I found the show to be endearing and I may have gotten some real therapy out of it. It’s nice to see a drag performance not fall into all the usual cliches. Yes there’s lip synching, but also insight into the difficulty of forming relationships while living with unresolved trauma. Many of us know this too well.
