What I liked
I felt his joy as he performed. Also allowing us the audience to shout Bilbo or Frodo when he switched their names was a fun little game.
What I didn't like
In a different iteration would love to see Lord of The Rings: Abridged with the same style of acting or explaining every single moment of every scene but choosing specific scenes and filling the audience in on what he skipped over.
My overall impression
Super fun. I had a grin the entire time. I love when people are just silly and playful. The title is exactly what the show is. He does the first 30 minutes of the first movies.
