The monologue flowed very well – no down time – all relevant – and the explanations work for all audiences – including those who spent a career in the military as well as for those who have no or little exposure to the armed forces. I really liked the use of lighting which was well timed as well as the descriptions of characters. Heroes, villains, friends, frienemies, brothers and sisters in arms.
What I didn't like
Perhaps consider adding the fact that women astronauts – coming up thru the military ranks – are not uncommon – in addition to Blue Angels
My overall impression
Loree combines her experiences as a fighter pilot, actress, pioneer and story teller to let you feel what it’s like to fly Navy jets. She channels the hardships of training,:exhilaration of the catapult launch, and hand to eye coordination required to land on a carrier at night. More importantly she shares her successes and failures with candidness, honesty and humor. Background videos accentuate her points. Young women, pay attention. Young men take heed. Maverick is Hollywood BS. Rowdy Draude is the real deal.
