Such an amazing production only exceeded by the stellar performances. The collective acting is so seemless and natural that it feels as if we are unannounced guests looking through a two way mirror listening to conversations we shouldn’t hear and witnessing interactions we shouldn’t be able to see. It’s a ticket to a window into a glimpse at what could be and what could have been, if only…... full review

This show has everything I want in a play. I laughed, I cried, and I laughed again. Tori La Desma and Allie Rae Treharne are unflinching as they take you through two very different realities of middle-American life. I related so deeply to both of them in so many different ways. Do not miss this show! This snapshot of suburbia will break your heart and have you coming back the next night to get it broken all over again. ... full review

I saw Detroit in the equivalent of Previews in a Silver Lake backyard. I was immediately taken with the play itself, it’s themes, rhythms & humor (it’s funny!). This production was awesome. I came in with pretty high expectations and it exceeded them. It’s obvious why the play was a finalist for the Pulitzer, but this performance matched the material. The actors were delightful to watch. Their performances were fluid, nuanced, and grounded even in the play’s more heightened and absurd moments. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to catch a show this Fringe. Put it at the top of your list!... full review
