What I liked

The performances. So beautiful and captivating. I was drawn into every word and action and left feeling like I knew each of these women so deeply. It also felt like an incredibly welcoming and accepting type of story. I felt seen and heard, and maybe even the ghosts in the theater did too.

What I didn't like

I would love to see more. More of what happens after. More of how they all learn to love and live together. Any personality clashes? Any jealousy? I also felt like I personally didn’t need as much explaining and apologies from Cas at the end. The audience already understands her grief so much and as much as the characters may need apologies, they felt drawn out and almost unnecessary. Still, I loved these heartfelt moments and how her gloves came off and we see that physical change as she leaves the apartment for the first time.

My overall impression

Such a beautiful, hopeful story about love transcending through time and realms of life, showcasing the largest and smallest ways we all love and accept one another in our own ways. The chemistry between the characters/actors is palpable, drawing you in for every word and nuance, and keeping you there until the very end. I left feeling incredibly satisfied and hopeful for the future of our heroines, but also longing for more, more so because I would love to see how these characters continue to let their love and humor deepen. Overall, a captivating love story that will have you laughing and tearing up the entire hour and probably another hour after that.
