MY FAVORITESCENE was when Paige is learning to set boundaries. It was a brilliant example of how perfectly she incorporates multimedia throughout her entire show; dodging bad influences left and right like a black belt in karate. Or her genius “trauma-bond” personification. I laughed, I cried, I reevaluated my own life choices and beliefs around love and relationships. Truly a great performance and show!
What I didn't like
Nothing! It was seamless, well though out, acted, and written!
My overall impression
Love Addict is a wonderfully written, acted, and crafted one woman show that took me completely by surprise; mainly because I didn’t anticipate how much I’d relate to it. Paige’s willingness to be vulnerable and throw herself and all her “behavioral patterns” under the bus for the sake of expressing the transformative powers of a higher power, sisterhood, and the journey of loving oneself was not only brave, but HILARIOUS, deep, and moving.
