What I liked
The story is heart warming and draws in the attention of audiences, adults and children alike. There are so many moments to identify with along Rue’s journey from New York City to Los Angeles. The puppets and set designs keep the imaginative mind engaged and curious. The puppeteers are very talented. Could see children connecting only with the puppets. Compliments to the director’s musical vision and her creativity to bring so much joy in this production. Runaway Rue is a must see at Fringe Fest !

My overall impression
Runaway Rue has the makings of a Broadway musical for anyone who loves dogs and cats and how they are forever family members. The puppets are so clever and fun details bringing each animal to life. The songs and lyrics are catchy and memorable. We had a great time! Lots of laughs and sweet moments.
