It seems to succeed more as a fast-paced Fringe comedy than as deep social commentary. The jokes, references, and millennial nostalgia are the main attraction, and if that humor clicks for you, the show sounds extremely entertaining.... full review

"Les Millénniables" is a refreshing and clever parody pop musical that brilliantly intertwines the timeless themes of "Les Misérables" with the unique trials and tribulations faced by the millennial generation. Written by two talented Hollywood female comedy writers of color, this production manages to blend humor and poignancy, offering a satirical yet deeply relatable look at the financial woes that define millennial life. The story centers around Jean Valjean, a millennial burdened with the crushing weight of student loan debt and the elusive nature of financial stability. Valjean's journey is a familiar one, filled with dashed dreams and thwarted efforts for success, encapsulating the frustration and resilience of an entire generation... full review

Upbeat, hilarious, incredibly well-written with pop cultures that even a Gen X'er like me could understand. Accessible. Relevant. And a smart choice to move forward to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.... full review

Although I am a "boomer' I can still appreciate the struggles of those millennials now finding the reality of living a financially stable life, given the job market, an impossible task. This musical. loosely based on the Les Mis characters, had me laughing from start to finish. I loved the idea of Javert being a bill collector, not able to collect a cent while Jean Valjean remains in school. So she (yes Valjean is female) goes about collecting degree after degree, but never able to get a job. A perfectly written and performing social commentary!... full review

Fun, funny, and painfully relatable for all who feel like a perpetually broke millennial. The performances are delightful and the ensemble has so much fun that you want to stand up and sing with them while rooting for the downfall of capitalism. ... full review
