The hilarity of hanging a decoration is balanced by the emotional weight of the Elvis treasures. Namik and Fustukijan’s chemistry is off the charts and only makes you want to see their future hijinks in a full-length play. A concept this simple works off the backbone of strong personalities, and this charming duo has them in spades. They gave something as simple as moving into a new apartment such life and energy.
What I didn't like
Honestly, they really have such a strong foundation that I only want to see more right now. While I’m sure a full-length version of this story would expose a few narrative holes and weaknesses, they aren’t to be found here in this one-act romp.
My overall impression
A well-executed, hilarious one-act that made me immediately want to see a 90 minute version. Though the set is simple and the props are mostly cardboard boxes, the physical humor is so sharp it had the theatre in stitches. As a fan of both comedy and Elvis Presley, I loved every minute of it (and really want to try the banana pizza!)
