What I liked
I have never been to an improv show like this. By the end, I really had gotten to know each of the players and their talents and point of view, and I loved them. I wanted to watch a tv show about all of them. This is a really wacky bunch and a wacky show, and it’s perfect for fringe.
What I didn't like
It seemed at time that the cast didn’t know what the games were and they were not clearly explained – I know they are still developing a large roster of games, so it feels like a work in progress in that way. Perhaps if the designer of the games played along, it could make it clearer what is “supposed” to be happening… but honestly, everybody’s unique interpretations of the “rules” led to something that was still funny and strange and truly a spectacle!
My overall impression
An amazing and surreal journey into new forms of improv. Every single person’s vibe comes through, which is hard to do in an improv show. I loved it and would see it again. It’s a great late-night-with-pals show!
