What I liked
This sweet, whimsical piece had all the elements of a perfect TYA show with themes of acceptance and empowerment. Zhigeng’s story is one that anyone can connect to. We’ve all been 9 year old Zhigeng wanting acceptance and we’ve all been Robin wanting more out of our lives. This ensemble very quickly immersed the audience in a beautiful, imaginative world of Zhigeng and her friends and family. I was brought to tears throughout several moments and very much connected to this story overall.

What I didn't like
I look forward to this project’s growth in it’s next iteration! Tighter transitions and more focus on balance with audio & projections will make this show even better!!!
My overall impression
This beautiful story for all ages co-written by Olivia Xing and Gefei Liu will have you feeling all the feels! This is definitely one of the must watch shows of this Fringe Festival this year!
