What I liked
The writing was insightful, ingenious, heartfelt, and often hilarious. The direction was imaginative, seamlessly melding styles from all over the world, including a shadow puppet moment that was spellbinding. The performances were excellent. This is a production to celebrate!
What I didn't like
The audio design could have been better balanced, and some of the projections would have played better if not on a black curtain.
My overall impression
Birds And The Curiosity was one of the best small theater productions I’ve seen in quite some time.
