I loved the performance aspect of the show the most. It was extremely impressive to see one person switch into vastly different characters and carry a scene. I also enjoyed the introspection of identity and how relatable/universal those struggles can be, even if it’s from the specific viewpoint of Brandon.
What I didn't like
I could have watched the hunchback character for a whole hour longer. I don’t have qualms about the show otherwise. It was very well done.
My overall impression
Best show I’ve seen all year. Brandon’s balance of comedy and drama makes for a great storytelling experience. It’s impressive to see one person inhabit different characters so seamlessly and even more impressive that they all inhabit on very meaningful tale that deals with identity. I laughed and cried. If you get a chance to see it, you won’t regret you did. Can’t wait to rewatch this.
