What I liked

LOVED the physicality, nuanced characters, the grounded conversation between him and his grandmother. I was enchanted from start to finish.

What I didn't like

Absolutely nothing to be improved. It’s a masterclass in solo theatre!!

My overall impression

Hands down best solo show at HFF23! This is my second time seeing this show and I’ve been blown away each time! Brandon is an extraordinary talent, disappearing into every character he inhabits, each one distinct from the last. The entire audience laughed with his amazingly timed pauses, facial expressions etc. His larger than life physicality and movements enhanced the play in every way. I was captivated by his story, identifying with his thought provoking exploration of identity, and made me appreciative of how fortunate we are to just be ourselves.
