About the Project
Our vision for this show is to focus on those people who are creatives and have them speak monologues for each through verse speaking their story, their struggles, their pain, and how they overcame. In order for people to understand others the only way is if they hear that person who has lived it, and their story. We are representing LGBTQ struggles, suicide struggles, sexual assault, sex trafficking, domestic violence, abortion, alcoholism, anxiety, depression, cultural issues, women’s issues, women of color issues, living while being of color, discrimination, and racism. We hope through the monologues and the stories we are able to impact those who have struggled to use their voice, and who have struggled to speak their truth. To show them, that we understand, and know what it is like to suffer in silence.
