What I liked
Strong atmosphere and a sense of total immersion, the smell of good cigarettes, the actors’ lively performances, without overacting and the music and lighting worked to enhance the emotions rather than distract.
What I didn't like
A little more coherence between scenes would have been appreciated. The finale needed one more striking accent to complete the impression. Overall, it wasn’t just a show, but an experience that lingers long after the finale.
My overall impression
This show didn’t feel like a production—it felt like an evening lived in the 1920s. The lights dimmed, jazz began to play many people smoke their cigarettes, and you were no longer a spectator, but a person at the next table who had accidentally witnessed someone else’s decisions and dangerous pauses. The glances, the silence, the short exchanges—everything kept you on edge, more than the loud scenes ever had. When it was all over, there was a strange feeling as if you’d been quietly escorted back to our time, without fully realizing where you’d just been.
