What I liked
The interactive elements which align audience members with particular characters, which helps focus their experience as they navigate internecine conflicts among rival factions vying to replace the murdered mafioso.
What I didn't like
Last Call Theatre’s ABANDONED was a highlight. So by their own high standard, THE COLLECTIVE seems a lesser effort to me, though that may be largely a matter of my personal preference for the sci-fi elements of their previous work
My overall impression
Another solid production from Last Call Theatre, this one abandoning the science fiction elements of its previous efforts in favor of depicting a 1920s mafia wake.
