This cast is talented. Some real draw-you-in, hold-your-heart, forget-its-show kind of acting.
What I didn't like
The general staging concept wasn’t my jam, but everyone I went with disagreed with me. It was bold, and thats more important than pleasing everyone anyway.
My overall impression
I went into this show thinking it was a bit of an archaic choice for Fringe, but I left blown away by the show. And the fact that The Seagull examines art and theater, and satirizes distinctions between new and old art forms, is really quite delightful after seeing so much new works at Fringe.
