About the Project
Mayor Hope is a solo show about the meaning of Harvey’s Milk life and his message in the world which is HOPE. The spirit of Harvey Milk comes back to life in a teenager’s room who is about to commit suicide and there he discovers and confronts the reality that LGBT+ community currently lives , realizing that the change has not been really significant. Through some memories of his life and his most famous words, the spirit of Harvey will try to instill his message of hope to change the decision of the adolescent and show him and those who feel like him that there is always hope
