Actress Melia Mills does a deft job of inhabiting all the various characters in the tale, the songs are sing a long catchy and land immediately with the audience, and the audio/visuals that accompany the performance serve to enhance the story without ever feeling intrusive.

This autobiographical show about an upper middle class high schooler who aspires to be a gangster rapper, and ironically finds that all the advantages she has in life are a distinct disadvantage when it comes be the ever important “street cred,” one needs to succeed in that game is a must see.
