What I liked

I like the use of language. Scott Guys script and lyrics are a deep dive into the fun, obscure and poetical parts of English prose. I loved the fantasy of the show and the fantasyland of the characters. Elise Dewsberry’s performance was delightful and solid. She clearly has the chops to pull of the difficult musical material and handles the story and emotional turns easily. Very fun.

What I didn't like

The only thing i would critique would be that at the beginning of the piece. I’m the beginning the insults are fun and fly by furiously. But those insults and words are so dense that coupled with an accent and a unique phraseology that Queen Mab has speaking in a sort of 3rd person, I had a hard time at the beginning following all the words. It’s a minor point but because there are so many great insults at the beginning, I wanted to hear them all. In the end, I feel that it was a fantastic piece and very high performance and writing quality. Everyone should go see it.

My overall impression

A delightful, fun and entertaining night.
