All of the actors stood out. Ryan Lisman was awesome as the lead and his narration made me clearly see the whole story. The play has incredibly dense and poetic language and he handled it masterfully. Steve Voldseth also stood out giving a virtuosic performance as the Father, every word was meaningful and filled to the brim. Both Lauren Holiday and Isabelle Hahn were also fantastic and helped convey the tragedy of the play. Would love to see all these wonderful actors in future shows. The play was also deftly directed by Damon McKinnis, which is no easy feat with this type of show.
What I didn't like
I really loved everything.
My overall impression
This show really blew me away! I am a big fan of Adam Rapp and this performance delivered in every way. I was moved to laughter and tears several times. This is definitely a must see at this years Fringe!
