What I liked
Several comedic actors in the show were absolutely fantastic, I would consider following their future work.
What I didn't like
The sheer amount of fun in this production is overwhelming, making it impossible to dwell on any negative aspects.
My overall impression
The musical “Truly Outrageous” lives up to its name. From the first scene to the last, it is filled with excitement and laughter. The comedy brought by the cast is unforgettable, with just the right amount of queerness and a transgender woman who does it all, a child actor who performs with relentless determination, adorable villains, and each actor bringing their character to life, creating a fantastic and dynamic stage. This show turns everything upside down and is incredibly enjoyable. The attention to detail in the costumes and props is impressive, combining glittering, sparkling, and neon elements to provide a visual feast. The catchy songs and stories fill the 90 minutes to the brim. What sets this musical apart is that the actors genuinely enjoy themselves on stage. They give each other energy, laugh together, and create a dynamic atmosphere that the audience absorbs. Everyone becomes one, laughing and enjoying the chaos together. The story itself is a parody of 80s TV, but it doesn’t matter. The true vibe of a live stage can only be felt in person, from head to toe. It was an incredibly entertaining and worthwhile live performance. Hearing the news of an encore, I feel that it is well-deserved. If you haven’t seen this outrageous musical yet, I highly recommend it!
