Truly Outrageous is Truly Fantastic!! So much hilarity and campiness, with a most amusing revisit to ‘80’s! Brandie June’s production and screenplay is stellar and highly entertaining. Loved all the creativity to bring Jem & the Holograms to the stage!! Rebecca McGlynn as songwriter went above and beyond her highly acclaimed reputation. So many catchy and funny songs! I just loved all the costume designs by Erica Palay. Absolutely every outfit totally hit the mark perfectly to make this musical a visual delight. The entire cast and the director… just WOW! A delightful dose of nostalgia. The casting was fantastic. Elise Golgowski truly understands what being a cartoon nemesis is all about. The plot, costuming, and musical numbers took me straight back to any given Saturday morning in the 80's. Cassie Lujan has pipes to be remembered.
