Elie Wiesel was a well-known writer, professor, political activist, Holocaust survivor, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
He was involved with Jewish causes and human rights activities and also helped to establish US Holocaust Museum in Washington DC.
His whole life has been inspiring towards great causes, helping others, and preaching for peace. As an actor, I want to tell his story in a concentration camp,
how his father’s death and the struggle for survival made him a great peacemaker, a well-known writer, and a founding member of the human rights foundation.
In the Concentration camp, Elie struggled to maintain his faith and faced starvation and abuse from guards, but his only hope was to help his poor dad. He was often hurting his chances of survival for his sick dad. Then he lost his dad, and all hopes were gone, which gave him a noble purpose in life. After his liberation, his whole life reflected on serving his community and educating people so this kind of event would not happen again. Witness Abdul bring Elie’s stories to life by solo performance.
