What I liked
I am a man who loves my puns, and this production did not disappoint! All of the wordplay was absolutely beautiful in a way that will make you smile, burst out laughing, facepalm, or perhaps some combination of the three. The characters are fun and dynamic, the way that they play with the script and situations is wonderful, and the whole production was very LGBTQ+ inclusive.
What I didn't like
Not much could be improved here. There were some times when it felt maybe a bit too centered on jokes and less on the plot, but since the jokes were hysterical I was okay with it.
My overall impression
This parody of the old-time horror/detective genres was everything that I wanted it to be and more. In just 45 minutes, they gave a complete story with character backstories, developments, and almost nonstop jokes. The entire audience was laughing from start to finish as this wonderfully self-aware comedy delighted us all.
