About the Project
Sara Caplan is now 30, but she still hasn’t written her Musical. Instead, all she’s got is a pile of half-baked ideas and disjointed songs that she swears she’ll get around to actually finishing Some Day. She does, however, have just enough material to Frankenstein together one show for Fringe to prove to her parents and to herself that her adult life hasn’t been a complete waste! Join her as she shares tracks from Chopped: The Musical, A Fieri Tale, and Closet, which is her sad Queer musical. Sara is a musical improvisor who has been on UCB house teams, Baby Wants Candy, and Off Book. She’s also a trans woman with a philosophy degree, so spends a lot of time thinking about and talking about Gender Stuff.
