What I liked
The young actors who played Romeo and Juliet (aka Destiny and Billy) perfectly embodied the teenage lovers Shakespeare wrote all those years ago. Would love to see them play the real thing!
The writing was so clever and such a treat for all the Shakespeare buffs out there.

My overall impression
As a UK Shakespearean-trained actor, this show had a very special place in my heart. I loved how it called out how life isn’t necessarily the fairy-tale we all want life to be. A very sweet love-letter to all the artists who still strive to see love and beauty in the world while reckoning with real life. A unique and original idea, I felt refreshed seeing this story!
