What I liked
The unexpectedness of the journey! I would think I had the show structure figured out then he would surprise me in a really lovely way. I love how he found moments to be vulnerable but also tack on a joke that didn’t take away from the sweetness and honesty just moments before.

My overall impression
Go see this show! A beautiful mix of comedy, music, and vulnerability! Ariel finds a wonderful mix of honesty wrapped up in silly and streamers that had the audience nodding along in both understanding and solidarity. A thrilling part of humanity is that we get to feel all of it (sometimes all at once) and he’s found a way to really tap into that experience. It really is an empathy party and something we can all benefit from experiencing!
